Position Overview

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of inbound and outbound shipments of raw materials and ingredients. This position is responsible for overseeing the timely unloading and loading processes, as well as the proper allocation of materials to designated storage areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
  • Supervise the daily activities of Warehouse Technicians across multiple shifts.
  • Develop and manage schedules for various production lines.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients regarding their orders and schedules.
  • Procure raw materials for production by creating and monitoring Purchase Orders.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of materials.
  • Implement Just In Time inventory practices to minimize excess stock.
  • Adjust orders as necessary in response to scheduling changes.
  • Maintain accurate records in relevant systems.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of storage areas for raw materials and ingredients.
  • Conduct daily physical inventories to verify raw material counts.
  • Participate in departmental audits and quality control processes.
  • Train and evaluate new employees within the department.
  • Foster a positive work environment and maintain effective communication with team members.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and inventory management systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements: The role may require lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds and working in a noisy environment with moving machinery.
