Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to join our team at Jsvvsols. As a GIS Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our organization's geographic information systems (GIS) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze orthorectified imagery for positional accuracy, resolution, and clarity, identifying and reporting errors, discrepancies, and artifacts.
- Assess the accuracy of lidar Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) for ground classification, noise, data gaps, consistency, and seamlessness.
- Collaborate with GIS teams to ensure data conforms to specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize vendor web-based viewing solutions for data review and assessment.
Requirements:
- Experience with GIS software and quality assurance/quality control processes.
- Knowledge of orthorectification and ortho imagery concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
