Medical Device Service Technician

Job Summary

Mallinckrodt is seeking a skilled Medical Device Service Technician to join our team. As a Medical Device Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of medical equipment in accordance with the company's established protocols and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical devices to ensure optimal functionality and patient safety
  • Conduct quality control checks on equipment to identify and diagnose technical issues
  • Develop and implement solutions to resolve equipment malfunctions and technical issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless equipment maintenance and repair processes
  • Participate in quality assurance programs to maintain the highest level of equipment reliability and patient safety
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in electronics/electro-mechanical repair working in a technician role
  • Proficiency with office software and ERP software (SAP or similar) within service/equipment modules
  • Ability to read and understand pertinent training documentation and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with pneumatics troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment, electronics, and mechanics
  • Familiarity with medical device regulations and standards
Working Conditions
Light work (exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and 10 lbs of force frequently) visual acuity, subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.
