Electrophysiology Technologist I

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) team as an Electrophysiology Technologist I. This is a day shift position that requires a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Job Summary:
The Electrophysiology Technologist I will assist the physician(s) with all adult diagnostic and interventional Electrophysiology procedures. Primary clinical roles include scrubbing and circulating.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the physician(s) with all adult diagnostic and interventional Electrophysiology procedures
- Scrub and circulate during procedures
- Provide exceptional patient care and service
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Graduate of an associate or higher academic program in related health science
- Two (2) years full-time work experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and/or cardiac electrophysiology laboratory
- RCES - Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist certification within 36 months from date of hire
- BLS and ACLS certifications within 3 months from date of hire
