Phlebotomy Specialist

At Aegis Sciences Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Specimen Collector I to join our team. As a Specimen Collector I, you will play a critical role in collecting biological specimens for scientific testing.

• Sample Collection: Collect biological specimens, including blood, at client sites, ensuring the integrity of the collection process.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for reporting purposes, including sample requisitions and client information.
• Insurance Verification: Obtain initial insurance verification for billing purposes.
• Sample Preparation: Package specimens for shipment, ensuring they are properly labeled and sealed.

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Completion of a phlebotomy training program or a minimum of three years of experience in blood collection required.
• Certification: Must meet state requirements for phlebotomy certification (where required).
• Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain confidentiality.

PRN, up to 16 hours per week.
