Job Description

At Radio Engineering Industries, we are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the flow of materials through our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify counts of stock and deliver them to production lines
  • Receive parts in appropriate locations and replenish inventory as needed
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure that raw materials, components, and finished products are available to meet production schedules
  • Pick and issue parts per job order requirements using an RF scanner
  • Prepare pallets for production lines and/or put away in slotted inventory locations
  • Conduct regular inventory audits for accuracy of quantity and ensure the accuracy of records in the inventory management system
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, stock locations, and help sustain inventory control

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and software (ERP experience preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, order fulfillment, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or electronics environment
  • 1+ years of forklift and pallet jack experience required, certification preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh 70 lbs.
  • Regularly required to crouch, kneel, reach, bend, stand, sit, push, pull, stoop, and use safe lifting techniques
  • Ability to climb and work while on a ladder
