Job Description

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Wilmington is seeking a part-time Resident Caregiver to join our team.

The Resident Caregiver will assist residents in all aspects of their daily life, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs.

This role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School diploma (Springhouse)
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Knowledge and experience in working with elderly
  • Previous dementia experience preferred

This role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods, as well as the ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis.
