Job Overview

Southwest Quality Molding is seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping us meet company and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the production team in the injection molding process by monitoring, material testing, troubleshooting, and implementing process improvements.
  • Set up molds, process products, and ensure they meet company and quality requirements.
  • Assist in qualifying new tooling and related equipment to optimize production efficiency.
  • Process a wide range of thermoplastic materials, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with the team to create, maintain, and monitor process documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure secondary equipment is properly maintained and running efficiently.
  • Provide training and support to team members as needed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machines and secondary equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Process Technician.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • US Work Authorization is required.
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent is required.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, and flexibility to work weekends as needed.
