Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of Environmental Services personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality cleaning standards.
- Coordinate and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas of the hospital are maintained to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning protocols and procedures to prevent the spread of infection and maintain a safe environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are available to meet the needs of the department.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; preferably one year of post-high school education in a related field.
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare or cleaning environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and quality.
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
