Position Overview:
The Branch Manager will oversee all facets of branch operations, encompassing staff leadership, member engagement, financial outcomes, and community interaction. The successful candidate will exhibit exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities, a dedication to member satisfaction, and a zeal for assisting members in reaching their financial aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Inspire, guide, and empower branch personnel to attain high performance and superior member service. Conduct regular performance assessments and offer coaching and growth opportunities.
- Operational Oversight: Supervise daily branch functions, ensuring adherence to credit union policies and procedures, along with regulatory standards.
- Financial Performance: Evaluate and enhance branch financial outcomes, including achieving sales targets, managing budgets, and optimizing profitability.
- Member Service: Cultivate a positive member experience by addressing inquiries, resolving challenges, and ensuring high satisfaction levels. Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services.
- Community Engagement: Act as the credit union's representative in the community, fostering relationships with local businesses and organizations. Formulate and execute strategies to boost branch visibility and community participation.
- Risk Management: Safeguard branch security, operational integrity, and compliance with all risk management protocols.
Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in branch management or a comparable leadership role within a financial services context is preferred. Familiarity with credit union policies and procedures is essential.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in financial management, sales techniques, and customer service. Capability to analyze and interpret financial data.
