Senior Human Resources Manager

At Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Human Resources Manager to lead our Human Resources department. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and exciting work environment where you'll have the chance to make a real impact on our team's success.
As a Senior Human Resources Manager, you'll be responsible for directing all areas of Human Resource administration, including recruiting, salary administration, associate services, associate benefits, management development/training, and labor relations. You'll provide advice and counsel on all laws affecting our operations and ensure that our associates are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their roles.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing in an upscale hotel environment, with a strong background in HR management and a passion for employee growth and development. You'll be a dynamic and enthusiastic leader who thrives under pressure and is able to perform multiple functions and troubleshoot when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Recruitment: Develop a recruitment plan to identify management-level positions and hourly positions, ensuring that we attract the best talent for our team.
- Culture Development: Drive and reinforce the Omni Culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment that supports our associates' growth and development.
- Salary Administration: Administer salary administration policies and programs, reviewing and adjusting salary ranges annually, conducting local wage surveys, and monitoring merit increases.
- Associate Development: Coordinate management development and associate training, recommending new programs based on need and ensuring that our associates have the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their roles.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee associate benefit program administration, ensuring that our benefits package is competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with all Federal and State laws, keeping management advised of changes that affect our associates and operations.
- Employee Engagement: Conduct annual associate engagement surveys in conjunction with corporate personnel, ensuring that we're meeting our associates' needs and expectations.
Qualifications:
- Four or more years of experience in HR management in a four- or five-diamond property hotel with over 300 associates.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. PHR Certification preferred.
- Proven leadership skills that support an environment of employee growth and development, interdepartmental teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, and creative leader who thrives under pressure and is able to perform multiple functions and troubleshoot when needed.
- Must be service- and detail-oriented, with a friendly and approachable demeanor and strong problem-solving skills.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Windows.
- The ability to sit and utilize a telephone/computer for an extended period.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. The estimated annual salary for this position is $95,000.
