We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at EMCOR Group Inc.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and timely delivery of our line of services to multiple customers within an assigned geographic territory. This includes performing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing of commercial HVAC systems, and utilizing multiple trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and roofing as needed to solve maintenance problems.
Key Responsibilities- Complete thorough Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services on all standard package and split unit HVAC systems.
- General repairs of steam/hot water boiler systems, diagnose airflow and ducting repairs, and safely diagnose and repair common mechanical, electrical, or system failure issues.
- Perform minor plumbing maintenance, routine painting, carpentry work, and minor electrical maintenance as allowed without a license.
- Complete service inspections and asset inspections as needed, and fully utilize technology to access and complete work orders, create and submit Service Reports and Quality Inspection images and reports, and submit timesheets, expense reports, and purchase card logs.
- Obtain necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks, create a positive climate with the client, and provide and generate customer satisfaction.
- Years of HVAC/General Maintenance experience including electrical, plumbing, carpentry required; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.
- Ability to perform various general type maintenance tasks, write routine reports and correspondence utilizing basic computer skills, and communicate via email and internet use.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, knowledge of chiller operations (centrifugal) and various HVAC equipment, and BAS (Building Automation System) experience and working knowledge of energy management systems.
