Job Title: General Maintenance Technician
Overview: Marriott Louisville Downtown is in search of a General Maintenance Technician to uphold the highest standards of facility maintenance and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the hotel's maintenance standards to align with company, brand, and guest expectations.
- Assist the Chief Engineer in managing the Engineering department's operations.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of engineering work areas to support efficient hotel operations.
- Carry out assigned maintenance tasks with safety and professionalism.
- Inspect fixtures and signage for proper functionality, and manage spare parts inventory effectively.
- Perform additional duties as required to support hotel operations.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for various maintenance tasks.
- Possess a foundational understanding of general maintenance, with a willingness to enhance skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Capability to lift up to 25 lbs. and maintain prolonged standing.
- A minimum of one year of experience in maintenance is preferred.
