Maintenance Specialist

PSC Industries is a leading manufacturer of foam, rubber, and other non-metallic materials. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team.
Job Summary: The Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring the safe operation of our facilities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs.
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics for troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment.
- Document all work performed in a timely and accurate manner using our maintenance system.
- Work to continuously improve the machines and standardized procedures used to maintain them.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Perform basic facility maintenance.
- Use all tools safely, following OSHA standards and PSC protocol.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED plus at least 3 years of related experience in a production environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Troubleshoot and repair machines.
- Ability to use a wide range of power tools.
- Ability to understand instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Basic carpentry, plumbing, welding, HVAC, and electrical skills.
- Comprehension of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Able to work overtime as needed.
