Job Summary:
Huntsville Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Student Nurse-Ortho 3 ST-PRN- 1st shift to join our team. As a Student Nurse, you will work under the direction of the RN/LPN and provide direct patient care services. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your clinical skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care services under the supervision of the RN/LPN
- Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and medication administration
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- High School/GED required
- Completed a minimum of one year of clinical experience within an academic nursing program
- Completed educational courses and clinical experience in Fundamentals of Nursing and Pharmacology, including medication administration
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited Associated Degree, Diploma, or Baccalaureate Professional Nursing Program
- BLS certification required before the conclusion of the orientation period
