Homefinding Supervisor

Graham Windham is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Homefinding Supervisor to lead our Foster Care Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of children in our care, while also developing and maintaining a strong network of foster and adoptive families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and certifications of foster and adoptive homes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement training programs for foster and adoptive parents, focusing on child development, behavior management, and navigation of DOE and OMH programs.
- Partner with our Case Management team to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of children in foster care.
- Oversee the acceptance of children for placement in our Foster Care Program and identify new homes for children in need of replacement.
- Provide formal and informal supervision to team members, holding individual supervision sessions and team meetings on a regular basis.
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Homefinding, with 3+ years of Supervisory/Management experience.
- MAPP Leader Certified, with knowledge of Model Approach to Partnerships in Parenting (MAPP) and Mini-MAPP curricula.
- Knowledge of internal and external State and City regulations and policies applicable to foster care and adoption.
- Computer literate and familiar with the NYS OCFS's CONNECTIONS system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
