Position Overview:
Weatherford is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to join our team. This role involves performing electro-mechanical tasks of moderate complexity under general supervision, adhering to established procedures and work instructions. This position is hands-on and offers a rewarding experience in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand and comply with Weatherford's Enterprise Excellence Process and Quality Policy, following all requirements outlined in the Quality Systems Manual and Workplace Instructions.
  • Assemble and test completion equipment according to engineered specifications or directives from supervisors.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as tapes, gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Inspect finished components for precision and operational functionality.
  • Conduct hydrostatic testing on components as required.
  • Handle materials appropriately and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of company-provided tools and uphold a tidy work environment.
  • Assist in the development of new procedures and enhancement of existing ones.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Execute work assignments with the utmost quality and efficiency.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the role.

Primary Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical or mechanical fields.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in computer usage.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence in English.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
  • General understanding of assembly processes.
  • Experience with soldering techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of wiring schematics.
  • Experience with downhole tools.
