Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Recreational Therapist, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing treatment programs that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify their recreational needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Design and implement recreational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Supervise and train assistants and technicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in departmental programs related to student education, quality assurance, and community education.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited institution with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreational Therapy.
  • Current State of Michigan RT registration.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
