Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Icahn Automotive Group LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing tire and automotive services while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, cooling system, suspension, and alignment services.
  • Perform maintenance services and job duties of lower-level technicians.
  • Effectively communicate technical diagnoses and needed repairs to colleagues and customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous learning and training.
  • Assist fellow technicians and mechanics in performing technical activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair experience.
  • 2 or more ASE certifications (A4 Steering and Suspension, A5 Brakes) preferred.
  • Section 609 certification preferred.
  • State Inspection license if applicable.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check.
Physical Demands
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, and placing of merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent standing and walking for long periods.
  • Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting.
  • Effective communication in person, by telephone, or using telecommunications equipment.
  • Entering and locating information on computer.
  • Presenting information to small and large groups.
  • Visually verifying information, often in small print.
  • Safely operating a motor vehicle.
