Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Branch Sales Associate at Partners 1st Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, processing financial transactions, and promoting our credit union services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including receiving funds, posting transactions, and paying out funds as requested.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and confidential assistance to members and company associates, ensuring a positive experience and minimizing wait time.
  • Balance cash drawers daily to ensure accuracy in transactions and notify supervisors of any discrepancies.
  • Receive loan payments and savings deposits from members, address inquiries on accounts, and record amounts and dates of payments.
  • Issue cashier's checks, receive currency for coin, and verify amounts.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve member and internal inquiries regarding policies, practices, and products.
  • Assist other departments and branches with transactions as needed and provide support for department and branch managers in fulfilling member requests.
Requirements
  • Cash handling and customer service experience is strongly preferred.
  • High school degree or GED required.
  • Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with limited supervision.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise and be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision.
