Role Summary: The Radiologic Technologist plays a vital role in the imaging department, assisting physicians in capturing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. This position is essential for ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate X-ray and CT equipment to produce diagnostic images.
  • Verify patient identity and medical history prior to procedures.
  • Instruct patients on positioning to achieve optimal imaging results.
  • Maintain radiographic equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Document and manage patient records accurately.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret imaging results.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear explanations of procedures.
  • Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in accurate diagnoses.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited institution.
  • Registered with the ARRT and possess a valid state license.
  • New graduates are welcome based on clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
