Electromechanical Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Systems Engineer to join our team at Aleron. The successful candidate will collaborate with Engineering, Operations Support, and various departments to assist with engineering activities, including designing, testing, modifying, fabricating, and assembling prototype electromechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/light transmission devices, and specialized test equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Constructing, modifying, debugging, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and adjusting a range of tools, equipment, and systems.
  • Conducting, analyzing, and documenting statistically based experiments to establish process parameters.
  • Implementing and documenting complex solutions for process improvements.
  • Designing and building basic tooling and fixtures for specific tasks.
  • Organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify cause-and-effect relationships and recommend resolutions or process enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an Engineering Technician.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge and proficiency in the use of fabrication tools.
  • Ability to fabricate complex hardware.
  • Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory.
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Superior communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Information:
