Job Overview

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the department Supervisor, the Masking Technician is tasked with the application of tape to various product components prior to the application of metal finishing solutions, as well as the precise trimming of tape on components utilizing a range of tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, cut, and apply silicone, masking tape, or other specialized tapes as required for the masking of specific components according to work order specifications.
  • Manage the placement and retrieval of components from designated storage areas.
  • Prepare and package components for distribution.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols.
  • Execute additional assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Proficient in applying adhesive tape to various components.
  • Comfortable using basic hand tools.
  • Ability to work in a chemical environment.

ITAR Compliance:

This position is subject to ITAR regulations, necessitating that the employee be classified as a U.S. person (either a U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in environments with heat, noise, and chemical exposure.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
