Key Responsibilities- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

- Execute preventative maintenance on equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
- Interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams to determine work methods
- Dismantle machinery for repairs
- Transport machinery and equipment
- Assemble and install equipment, including shafting and conveyors
- Construct foundations for machinery
- Align machines and equipment accurately
- Assemble machinery and secure it to foundations or other structures using bolts, welding, or riveting
- Conduct repairs and lubrication of machines and equipment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
To succeed in this position, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the essential duties outlined. The following qualifications are necessary:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Relevant experience in a similar role through a combination of education and practical work
- In-depth knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and work order systems
- Adept at analyzing and troubleshooting mechanical problems using data analysis, intuition, and experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and understand safety regulations, operational and maintenance manuals, and blueprints
- Capability to perform basic mathematical calculations
While fulfilling the responsibilities of this role, employees may encounter various conditions, including working near moving mechanical parts, in elevated or precarious locations, and in outdoor weather conditions. Exposure to extreme temperatures and electrical hazards is also possible. The noise level in the workplace is typically loud.
Employees are required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Regular use of hands for handling, reaching, and manipulation is necessary, along with frequent standing, walking, climbing, and other physical activities.
Compensation and Benefits• Hourly Rate: $33.99
