About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team at Elysian Energy. As a key member of our Home Performance team, you will play a critical role in helping homeowners reduce their energy consumption and improve the comfort of their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough energy audits and check-ups to identify energy-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Install and explain various energy-saving products, such as LED lighting, aerators, and pipe insulation, to homeowners.
  • Use modeling software to create detailed audit reports and communicate findings to clients in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Develop and present comprehensive scopes of work to homeowners, outlining recommended energy-saving measures and associated costs.
  • Build strong relationships with homeowners, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Perform related administrative tasks, including data entry and communication with clients, using computers and mobile technology.
Requirements
  • Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst Certification (BPI BA) or BPI HEP Energy Auditor Certification.
  • Energy auditing or construction experience, with a strong understanding of building science and energy efficiency principles.
  • Bachelor's or technical degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, architecture, or environmental science.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable access to an insured vehicle.
  • Ability to pass background and reference checks.
  • Capable of lifting 40 pounds and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience working with Beacon and/or Hancock, as well as Salesforce or other customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Ability to absorb, process, and communicate complex technical information to clients.
  • Customer service and sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
