Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, treating, and managing patients with cardiopulmonary conditions, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults.

Proficiency in all modalities of respiratory care is required, including oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, airway clearance, blood gases, airway management, non-invasive and invasive ventilator setup and monitoring.

Requirements
  • Associates Degree with a certificate in Respiratory Care
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with the National Board of Respiratory Care
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Nebraska
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 6 months of hire
Work Schedule

Varied shifts, including 3rd to 4th weekend rotation, 1 to 3 holidays per year rotation, and on-call 1-2 nights a week rotation.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $39.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
