Job Title: Compassionate Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic caregiver to join our team at TheKey. As a caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, providing personalized care and support to help them thrive at home.

About the Role:
  • Deliver exceptional care to our clients in their homes, providing assistance with daily tasks and activities.
  • Help execute comprehensive personalized care plans, ensuring our clients receive the best possible care.
  • Supply personal companionship and social support, engaging with clients and promoting their overall well-being.
  • Assist with personal care activities, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping.
  • Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed.
  • Document tasks and report changes in client condition, mental capability, or behavior.
Requirements:
  • At least one year of caregiving experience.
  • Hospice experience.
  • Some weekend availability.
  • Dementia experience.
  • Total Care experience.
  • Vehicle, proof of a valid Driver's license, vehicle registration, and vehicle insurance.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Pass an Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) check, as defined by Texas law.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions and document timely and accurately in systems.
  • Empathy for the needs of the client.
  • Treats clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, respect, and presents a positive public image.
  • Maintains confidentiality and security of the client's medical information.
Preferred Skills, Education, and Certifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensure as a CNA, HHA, PCA, HCA, CHHA, if applicable.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Have a smartphone.
