PennState Health is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in administering accurate ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from our Radiation Oncologists.
Responsibilities:
- Administer accurate ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from Radiation Oncologists.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to meet individual patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy.
- Minimum one (1) year experience post ARRT certification.
- Aria 13.6 or greater preferred.
- Varian Equipment experience, including proficiency on TrueBeam, preferred.
- CT Simulation experience preferred.
- Brachytherapy experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in an approved program of radiologic technology or health care field preferred.
