Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Publicist to lead media relations initiatives for exciting travel destinations such as a Caribbean island and popular Florida spots. If you love pitching creative ideas, building strong relationships with the media, and have a passion for travel, this PR role is perfect for you.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of public relations experience
  • Agency experience is a must
  • Strong, creative, AP-style writing an absolute must
  • Ability to spot a story angle
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to pitch stories over the phone or over email
  • Established lifestyle and travel media contacts in the U.S. are preferred
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
  • Impeccable organization; Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to juggle the needs of multiple clients
  • Thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Driver's license required
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens or have all necessary approvals to live/work in the U.S. without Visa sponsorship.
