Job Overview

This role will involve performing routine maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors.
Compensation Package
This position offers a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as medical, dental, and vision benefits for full-time employees. Primary Responsibilities
This role requires the ability to use technology comfortably, including laptops and tablets, to create, assign, and monitor work orders. You will be responsible for tracking machine service intervals, ordering parts, and diagnosing issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models. With real-time information at your fingertips, you can determine the root cause and corrective action for each issue quickly, enabling you to work smarter, not harder. Other responsibilities include practicing safe job practices for repairing equipment, troubleshooting equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handling repairs. You will also work individually or with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, assist in the training of lower-level technicians as needed, maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed, and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must own tools applicable to the position and have an advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools. Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs is also required. Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills are essential. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and being at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle are also necessary. This is a safety-sensitive position, and passing a 10-panel drug screen will be required before any offer of employment.
