About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Outpatient Imaging in Apopka. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate mammography equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all quality and safety standards.
  • Perform a full range of imaging procedures, including mammography and other radiological exams.
  • Document patient history, exposure, positioning, and other relevant information.
  • Repeats any view that fails to meet quality standards, adhering to the Image Quality Action Plan.
  • Adhere to all infection control standards and wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Perform Stereotactic Core Biopsies and Breast Needle Localizations as needed.
Requirements
  • Florida State License - General Radiographer
  • ARRT (R)
  • ARRT (M)
  • CPR certification
  • 1-3 years of experience in mammography, preferably with digital mammography experience.
