Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist III

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist III to join our team at AdventHealth Apopka. As a key member of our cardiovascular services department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical skills during Interventional Cardiovascular, Non-ablation Electrophysiology, or Interventional Radiology procedures.

• Perform angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring consistent with the policies, procedures, and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department and Hospital Administration.
• Follow CDC isolation guidelines, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and perform hand hygiene according to accepted standards of care.
• Identify and prepare patients using aseptic technique as dictated by procedure ordered.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and enforce safety regulations.
• Verify orders and facilitate implementation, communicating with physicians as needed.
• Perform treatments and administer medications according to policy and training.
• Function appropriately in clinical emergencies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and medications.
• Perform within the bounds of the applicable scope of practice for Cardiovascular Invasive Lab Technologists.
• Facilitate timely patient throughput.

• Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Current valid State of Florida or multi-state license as a Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)), Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Nationally Registered Paramedic (NREMT-P).
