Position Summary:
As the Veterinary Regional Manager, you will oversee a network of veterinary hospitals within the Mississippi and Louisiana regions. Your role will involve collaborating with the Regional Director, Vice President of Operations, and Practice Managers to enhance operational performance across our facilities. You will also engage with the Internal Operations team to implement various initiatives and projects tailored to the needs of your region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to practice managers at each hospital.
  • Work closely with practice managers on hospital operations, including staffing, inventory management, budgeting, employee and client scheduling, marketing strategies, training, and human resources.
  • Establish a strong partnership with managing veterinarians at each location, ensuring their insights and objectives are integrated into operational strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations to analyze financial reports and develop strategic plans for each practice.
  • Review non-financial reports, such as inventory and scheduling budgets, to drive improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee the integration process for newly acquired clinics.
  • Travel to practices regularly, with a typical schedule of four days on-site and one office day, with flexibility as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, team-building, and leadership abilities.
  • Highly organized with effective time management skills.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing multiple locations in the veterinary, dental, or medical sectors.
  • Self-motivated and eager to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in budget and financial statement review.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Louisiana or Mississippi.
