About the RoleThis is an intermediate-level position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be expected to perform a range of diagnostic procedures using specialized equipment, including mammography. Your expertise in medical imaging and terminology will enable you to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a high level of competence in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care, taking into account individual needs and preferences.
- Communicate complex medical information to patients and their families, promoting understanding and empathy.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in a relevant field, such as cardiovascular or radiologic technology, from a CAAHEP-accredited program.
- At least one year of experience in a related role, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Current certifications in ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI, depending on the specialty required by the hiring department.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, 401(k) matching, medical and dental insurance, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
