Job Description

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a vital role in obtaining high-quality diagnostic images that aid doctors in making informed treatment decisions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing patients for diagnostic imaging exams
  • Producing x-ray films of body parts to diagnose medical issues
  • Instructing patients on optimal positions for accurate image capture
  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
  • Delivering quality patient care in a professional manner
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A two-year degree from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • Valid state radiology registration
  • TWO years of experience as an X-Ray Tech, preferably in a critical care setting
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
