Position Overview
You will play a crucial role in the design of systems for nuclear power facilities, which includes the preparation and evaluation of:
  • Modification documentation for active nuclear power plants
  • Detailed mechanical schematics and designs for nuclear systems
  • Engineering assessments and analyses to facilitate modifications and the operation of plant systems
  • Technical specifications and procurement documentation for equipment
  • Vendor proposal assessments for plant machinery
  • Feasibility studies and evaluations for modifications to existing nuclear power plants

Additional Responsibilities
You will also have the chance to:
  • Generate engineering cost estimates for small to medium-sized client-driven projects
  • Engage with clients through site visits and presentations related to engineering progress and tasks
  • Lead project teams in engineering initiatives

This role operates on a hybrid work model, requiring in-office attendance three days per week.
Qualifications
We do not provide sponsorship for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.
• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• At least 5 years of experience within the nuclear power sector
• Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and regulations related to mechanical engineering design in nuclear power
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous but not mandatory
