Your Responsibilities:

In the role of Production Support Coordinator, your duties will include:

  • Engaging with clients: You will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries, whether they come via phone, email, or direct interactions. It is essential to comprehend their concerns and desired resolutions while maintaining professionalism and courtesy, even in challenging scenarios.
  • Identifying issues: Utilize your analytical skills and a range of remote support tools to evaluate the client's system and ascertain the root cause of technical difficulties.
  • Resolving issues: After diagnosing the problem, you will either rectify it if within your skill set or collaborate with the necessary resources to address the issue and escalate it to the internal team.
  • Customer follow-up: Regardless of who resolves the issue, it is your responsibility to follow up with the client to ensure their satisfaction with the outcome.
  • Documentation: You will utilize internal reporting systems to document and manage all customer issues.
  • On-call support: Our organization provides 24/7 emergency support to clients. You will be required to participate in a rotating on-call schedule to assist after-hours customers. While this is mandatory, on-call duties and after-hours support calls are compensated beyond your standard salary.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in CNC Machine Programming OR
  • 2 or more years of experience in coding/IT support
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory)

Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (Spanish proficiency is a plus)
  • Strong interpersonal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Experience in scripting or coding (Unix or Python is advantageous)
  • Familiarity with the Windows operating system is essential
