About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Wentworth Health Partners Primary Care at Pease in Portsmouth, NH.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting and excellent communication skills to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient flow and ensure efficient office operations
  • Perform clinically appropriate tasks related to patient panel management, including phone calls, test results, and prescription refills
  • Assist with office visits, including rooming, examinations, and procedures as directed
  • Maintain neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
  • Provide exceptional patient care and interact with patients and their families in a professional and friendly manner
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Currently working as a Medical Assistant with a minimum of one year of experience, or successful completion of Medical Assistant School/Program or comparable training
  • Must obtain a national Medical Assistant certification within 1 year of employment
  • AHA or ARC BLS within 90 days of hire
