Job Overview

Objective: This role is dedicated to overseeing all Retail Fulfillment initiatives, ensuring each project is completed successfully while setting, communicating, and upholding production objectives. The coordinator will gather essential requirements for all Retail Fulfillment projects and manage the workflow from inception to completion, maintaining transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project forecasting conducted by project coordinators.
  • Manage and mentor direct reports, including Project Coordinator(s).
  • Provide training and development for Project Coordinator(s).
  • Monitor the production process from start to finish.
  • Ensure a seamless flow of production activities.
  • Design, implement, and execute project plans effectively.
  • Engage with customers through regular calls and emails.
  • Address escalations and provide support for project coordinators.

Additional Duties:

  • Calculate and analyze production metrics.
  • Step in as a Project Coordinator when necessary.
  • Generate project quotes for clients.
  • Utilize critical and creative thinking to address unforeseen challenges during project execution.
  • Maintain essential project documentation, including creation, organization, and retention.
  • Facilitate escalated communications with customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or 3-5 years of experience in Fulfillment, including:
    • Project Management
    • Business Management
    • Information Systems
  • Proficient in WMS software.
  • Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access Database.

Language Proficiency:

  • English – Required (Written/Oral).
  • Spanish – Preferred (Written/Oral).

Reasoning Skills:

  • Ability to solve practical problems and navigate various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Capable of interpreting diverse instructions presented in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule formats. Skilled in identifying the root cause of issues and determining corrective actions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Proficient in operating phone systems using keyboards and buttons.
  • Effective communicator, comfortable speaking in front of groups.
  • Regularly works in an office environment, requiring sitting and repetitive hand motions.
  • Frequently required to talk, hear, stand, and walk.
  • Able to work beyond 8 continuous hours when necessary.
  • Ability to perform under stress, maintain accuracy, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must have 20/20 corrected vision to read and interpret visual information across various media.
  • Clear communication over the phone is essential.
  • Must be in good physical health as determined by a licensed physician, with no evidence of controlled substance use.

Work Environment:

  • Combination of office and operational settings, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles. Noise levels may vary from quiet to moderately loud.
