We are seeking Paramedics (MUST have paramedic certification) who are passionate about delivering high-quality service and providing both basic and advanced patient care in a professional and empathetic manner. Paramedics are responsible for assessing patient needs and determining the best course of action for each situation, adhering to established protocols and performing related duties as necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, intravenous fluids, CPR, and other necessary procedures and medications to deliver advanced medical care.
  • Operate the ambulance and provide navigation support to minimize response times.
  • Maintain all required certifications consistently.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers to understand call details and customer feedback.
  • Ensure the ambulance is in optimal condition, keeping it clean and well-stocked for effective response.
  • Document patient care activities and billing accurately to ensure comprehensive information is available for each call.
  • Adhere to policies regarding response times and turnaround times.
  • Consider patient conditions and insurance preferences when determining transport destinations.
  • Be prepared to work beyond scheduled shifts with little or no notice.
  • Collaborate professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must successfully pass a Physical Agility Test.
  • Good physical stamina, endurance, and overall body condition are essential, as the role requires frequent walking, standing, lifting, carrying, and balancing.
  • Ability to lift, drag, hoist, and carry various types of equipment and other objects.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Advanced education is preferred.
  • Current state Paramedic License (must provide license during the interview).
  • Valid State Driver's License (must provide valid license during the interview).
  • Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS Provider Certification (where applicable or required by contract, must provide certifications during the interview).
  • Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy.
