Nursing Care Specialist

About the Role
We're looking for a registered nurse with a passion for long-term care. As a Nursing Care Specialist, you'll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide personalized care to our residents. Your duties will include assessing resident health status, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Accurately assess resident health status and develop dynamic care plans
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families
- Provide hands-on care, including medication administration and treatments
- Document all assessments and interventions accurately and timely
- Maintain composure during crisis situations and handle conflicts professionally
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of employment
- CPR/AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and time management skills
