Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Design: Assist in planning, designing, and facilitating civil engineer project design tasks, ensuring that work products meet client, environmental, and safety requirements.
  • Technical Studies and Collaboration: Undertake technical and feasibility studies, collaborate with other professionals, and discuss requirements with clients to deliver high-quality results.
  • Design and Development: Use computer programs to develop detailed designs, and possess beginning knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and civil engineering design tasks.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with colleagues, communicate complex ideas clearly, and possess strong problem-solving skills to drive project success.
  • Travel and Flexibility: Be prepared for local/regional travel, with occasional overnight stays, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Possess a B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, with a strong foundation in civil engineering principles.
  • Certification: Have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and obtained engineer-in-training (EIT) or engineering-intern (EI) certification.
  • Experience: Entry-level position, with 0+ years of experience in civil engineering or a related field.
