Job Overview

The Senior Project Architect will work closely with our Design Team to develop architectural projects from concepts to construction documents, with a focus on detailing and documenting materials, technology, and systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, as well as the ability to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project principals, designers, and managers in each phase of the project delivery process.
  • Lead project teams through the coordination and delivery of project detailing and documentation.
  • Oversee the work of junior and intern architects.
  • Coordinate with engineering and other consultants.
  • Contribute to all aspects and phases of the architectural design process.
  • Assist in creating project schedules and budgets.
  • Attend project meetings.
  • Maintain and organize project files.
  • Travel to and from project and client meetings as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Architectural license required. LEED accreditation required within 12 months.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience. Experience with higher education projects is highly valued.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor others.
  • Strong technical project detailing and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in documenting all phases of the design process.
  • Construction management experience is essential.
  • Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional client service orientation and relationship building skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit.
  • Ability to travel to and navigate client sites during various stages of project development as required.
  • Experience working in Deltek VantagePoint is a plus.
