Job Title: Meat Department Leadership

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and location in the US.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team as a Meat Department Supervisor. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the meat department, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive store environment.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and Delegating Tasks: Supervise and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring that all duties are completed efficiently and effectively.
2. Training and Development: Work with the Team Trainer to train team members in a way that builds a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
3. Customer Service: Resolve difficult customer situations promptly and professionally.
4. Team Management: Ensure all necessary breaks are given, make sure temp, sweep, and sanitation logs are completed, and set and achieve the highest standards of retail execution.
5. Leadership and Communication: Foster and encourage a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale, maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, and direct team members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.

Requirements:

• Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and willingness to lead and develop others.
• Knowledge of Meat Procedures: Extensive knowledge of meat team procedures and policies.
• Product Knowledge: Thorough product knowledge of meat products and ability to communicate living conditions of animals to customers and team members.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated decision-making ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate.
• Mathematical Skills: Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory.
