Meat Department Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Meat Department Supervisor to join our team at Whole Foods Market. In this key supervisory position, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the meat department, while also fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Team Leadership: Supervise and delegate tasks to Meat Team Members, ensuring that all duties are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Training and Development: Work with the Team Trainer to train Team Members in a manner that builds and sustains a high-performance team, minimizing turnover and maximizing productivity.
• Customer Service: Resolve difficult customer situations, ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service and support.
• Department Operations: Ensure that all necessary breaks are given, and that temp, sweep, and sanitation logs are completed.
• Performance Management: Set and achieve the highest standards of retail execution, while fostering a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and a willingness to lead and develop others.
• Product Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of meat products and the ability to communicate living conditions of animals to customers and Team Members.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated decision-making ability, leadership skills, and the ability to prioritize and delegate.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications.
