We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health Heart Hospital in South Carolina. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong foundation in nursing practice, with a focus on cardiovascular care. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized plans of care, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote positive health outcomes.

Our Marion Suite Cardiac Telemetry unit is a 22-bed unit with a low patient-to-nurse ratio, allowing for personalized attention and care. We use state-of-the-art technology and innovative approaches to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Accountabilities
  • Patient Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted plans of care.
  • Care Implementation and Evaluation: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, incorporating evidence-based practices and adapting to changing patient needs.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest research, technologies, and guidelines in cardiovascular care, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and advance the field.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with current RN licensure in South Carolina.
  • At least one year of experience in cardiovascular care, preferably in a telemetry setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $123,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $7,500 for external candidates.
