Role Overview: As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment in a continuous improvement environment. Your role is crucial in maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, install, repair, and maintain production and manufacturing equipment.
- Inspect machinery to ensure proper functioning and perform preventative maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and execute necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance on production equipment during service periods.
- Provide emergency repairs for production equipment as needed.
- Perform basic machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to execute required maintenance.
- Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, and make necessary adjustments.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Expertly perform routine inspections and parts replacement tasks.
- Familiarize yourself with plant-specific electrical equipment, including knowledge of equipment locations and power sources.
- Proficiently use all electrical tools and understand their applications.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial systems.
- Ability to read and apply knowledge for repairs, troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns, and interpret mechanical drawings.
