Job Title: Quality Disability Manager

Community Multi-Services, Inc. (CMS) is seeking a Quality Disability Manager to provide a wholesome living environment for Developmentally Disabled Citizens (DDC) in our Washington DC Area Group Homes.

Qualifications:
  • A College degree in Human Services disciplines with one or more years of experience in management is required.
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record is necessary.
  • Must be able to supervise a staff of at least 10 people.
  • Excellent communication and written skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain personnel records, individual records, monthly progress reports, incident reports, and illness reports.
  • Ensure Individual Support Plans (ISP) and Behavior Support Plans (BSP) are developed and implemented.
  • Perform day-to-day management of the home, care, training, documentation, active treatment, and supervision of DDC.
  • Be knowledgeable of each individual to ensure implementation of each Support Plan.
  • Participate in ongoing training and attend all Management Meetings.
Duties:
  • Train staff in daily care of Individuals.
  • Supervise staff with meal plan purchases and preparation.
  • Coordinate medical, shopping, and day program appointments with the CMS Nursing Staff.
  • Manage individual finances, budgeting, and banking.
  • Plan structured weekends, holiday activities, and vacations for Individuals.
  • Provide group home coverage when needed.
