Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Part Time Sr. Store Associate to join our team at Office Depot. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers about Office Depot products and services, and effectively utilizing communication tools to request assistance and coordinate service.
  • Perform duties such as cashier, logistics support, stocking, restocking, down stocking, inventory control, cleaning the store, and protecting company assets.
  • Ensure the completion of damaged and defective/buy back merchandise through the RCC process.
  • Proactively engage every customer to ensure a positive customer experience, and utilize and understand the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution.
  • Evaluate customer needs to determine additional offerings or services required, and refer customers to the Contract Sales organization as necessary.
  • Continually develop personal selling skills and specialized product knowledge to drive sales growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices, and support company loss prevention efforts.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a related field.
  • 2 Years Sales and/or Customer Services experience preferred.
  • Ability to use technology and print equipment applicable to the role, and access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong selling skills, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Adaptability to a changing environment, and ability to coach and train others in a professional environment.
