Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced management candidate to join our team as a Dining Room Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for collaborating with management team members to effectively lead and direct the daily operations of the restaurant while consistently delivering an exceptional guest and team member experience.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with management team members to drive sales, manage costs, and effectively grow the business.
- Work in partnership with your team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and development to promote growth and retention.
- Monitor, address, and document individual hourly employee performance through on-going feedback, positive recognition, formal performance reviews, coaching, and, when necessary, disciplinary action.
- Understand and impact financial goals and effectively adjust operations to meet those goals as needed.
- Lead and impact a culture of smooth and effective day-to-day operations by being present on the floor, providing the essential tools needed, and guiding your team to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- 1+ years of hospitality management experience, with high volume and fine dining experience a plus.
- Strong local hospitality experience and commitment to promoting and fostering connection within our communities.
- Ability to work under pressure, asserting initiative, maintaining a sense of urgency while maintaining composure.
- Ability to connect, resolve conflict, drive engagement, and develop teams.
- Ability to innovate, consistently introducing new ideas and demonstrating original thinking.
- Desire to understand and impact financial goals and effectively adjust operations to meet those goals as needed.
- Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously to perform essential job function.
